Patience is a virtue (open) Empty
PostSubject: Patience is a virtue (open)   Patience is a virtue (open) EmptyMon Oct 04, 2010 9:00 pm

Taymos hit her forehead, and thunder cracked at her irritation. "Oh hush!" She hissed at the dark clouds rolling above her and she then looked back down. She had no idea where she was in Port Angeles, and she had no idea where to go. So, she was trying to think of some way to get out of where she was. But, since she wasn't having much luck, her impatience for an idea was growing and making a thunderstorm...Joy. Every single time her irritation and impatience rose, the storm just got worse and that just irritated her further more. This was one of the times that she hated what she was and wished that she was human. "Ok," she said, her voice high from stress, "I went down some street, going south, and then I turned right..." She said ,trying to remember how she got to her current location. In an alley, around buildings that seemed empty and abandoned.

She hated that she didn't have great memory.

Earlier she had tried to think of a solution to get out of this part of town, and had started wandering. Which caused her to get even more lost, and she had also tripped over something. And that delayed her wandering to find her way back, and she ended up here. This was the only cover that she had spied and she didn't feel like walking out into the street for someone to see her like this. At that moment, rain started pouring and Taymos huffed. "Great." She muttered, crossing her arms stubbornly.

Dallas had decided to take a long drive. He lived in Forks, but he ended up in Port Angeles. He got bored often, which resulted in a car ride or a game of basketball. He didn't know where exactly he was going. He was just driving. Which was exactly how he liked it. When he had a certain place in mind he was going, there was no adventure. But when you had no clue where you are going, and no clue how to get back from where you cam from? Now that's adventure.

Dally was driving around aimlessly when he spotted a girl. It was raining, so he found it quite odd that she was outside in the middle of no where. Sure, this was Port Angeles, but not the lively part. He drove a little closer to get a closer look at her. She had her arms crossed over her chest and pouty look on her face. He chuckled, she looked cute out in the rain pouting like that. He pulled his car over and rolled down the window. Shouting so she could hear he asked, "Need a ride?" a welcoming smile set on his lips.

((OOC; Omg bells, I love the outsiders, sodapop is hawt, Wink. )) Crystal was sitting on a roff, her wings stretch agents the shadows behind her, the blue butterfly glowed softly with her eyes. Her eyes having a tint of purple in them. Just as it began to rain, she let her wings disappear a sound of ruffling feathers was loud in the quiteness, she had on leg stretch stright, the other bent, leaning her arm leaning on it.

Crystal said the quite as she spotted what she thought was a human girl. She blink as she talked to the sky, suddenly, crystal heated the sounds of tires, she looked up to see a car turn, he seemed lost. So did she though,? Crystal knew where she was though. Right where she wanted to be. Away from her home. As far as she wasn't there, she didn't care where it was. Suddenly, a loud, to loud of a yell was spoken from what apperes to be a man. He seemed to have a meaningful look on his eyes, and she felt from the distenc he was nice. Although she could be wrong, she was wrong about her father.

Crystal then watch silently from the roof top, not creeply. But more... Wounding what it was like to be normal... Again, her predictions werent always right.

Patience is a virtue (open) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Patience is a virtue (open)   Patience is a virtue (open) EmptyThu Oct 07, 2010 10:20 pm

She swore when the thunder cracked again, lightning accompanying it. "Why?" She asked, looking up at the sky and she got the answer of a low rumble of thunder. Her hair was soaked, and her clothes were getting there. She was used to rain, since she was the one who caused it, but she didn't like the thunder and lightning. It just increased her headache, which caused it to get worse. Taymos looked away from the sky, and brushed her wet hair away from her face. But her head turned when she heard a voice yell. Her eyes studied him for a moment. A human was offering her a ride. She deliberated before grimacing. "Probably." She yelled back, and sighed. Thunder cracked and it was hard not to glare at the clouds.

Taymos controlled the weather mostly, but the clouds liked to do their thing. Including talking back to her.

It was hard to believe that she didn't really control the clouds, and that they talked back at her. But she wasn't that powerful. So, there had to be something that was left out. She could sometimes control them...but it never really worked out too well for her. She looked around at the tall buildings before heading hesitantly to the human's car. She could almost swear that she saw a form or something on one of them...the storm must be stressing her out so much that she was seeing things.

She got to his car and hesitantly opened the door and got in. "Sorry if I get your car wet." She said sheepishly, giving a small, nervous smile. She wasn't too good with accepting help, it made her feel pathetic. "Why're you around here during...a storm?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at him. Tay had been about to say 'my irritation' but that would sound odd. Especially to human ears since he was more likely not to know anything about the supernatural. Her blue eyes watched him in confusion, and she was silent as she studied his expression.

Dally watched as the girl made her way over to his car. He smiled, rolling the window back up as to spare the seat some wetness. His attempts were proven useless when the girl got in the car. She commented on being sorry for getting his car wet, and he just shrugged. "Nothing a good ole' towel can't fix. It's no big deal. Just water," he smiled reassuringly towards her. Dally studied her as they sat there motionless. He hadn't decided where to drive yet, and he didn't know where he needed to take her; so staying in one spot was the best way to handle things. The girl looked tough; not butch tough... But more emotionally tough. Like she had bigger and badder things to deal with than the average person.

"Why're you around here during...a storm?"

Dally looked at her and shrugged. "Oh you know.. Observing the wrath of some weather demon." He chuckled at his own joke before answering her seriously. "I got bored and needed something to do. So I took a drive and ended up here. Lucky for you, I must say." He noticed how soaked she was and cranked up the heat a bit. "If you don't mind me asking.. What are you doing out here, alone in the rain? Not the best day for a stroll through Port Angeles." Dally ran his fingers through his hair as he waited for a response.

Patience is a virtue (open) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Patience is a virtue (open)   Patience is a virtue (open) EmptyTue Oct 26, 2010 10:01 pm

She grimaced and looked at herself, and she was soaked. She then shook her head, making her wet hair stick to her face. She brushed it back and then looked back at him. "Still...sorry." She said, frowning at him as she sighed. Taymos managed a small, feeble smile in return, but then she blew a large breath. She hesitantly peeked out the window and thunder cracked loudly, rattling the frame of the car, and lightning streaked across the sky. She narrowed her eyes and thunder rumbled lowly in response, the lightning after it not as bright as it had been. The clouds were mad at her for getting in a car of a person she didn't know; that made complete sense.

She'd get put in an insane asylum if she ever told anyone that.

Taymos stiffened a bit at his joke before laughing a bit and forcing herself to relax. "Ya, seems like something really made it annoyed." She said lightly, putting a grin on her lips before rolling her eyes. She raised an eyebrow at his reasoning. It was somewhat lucky for her...kind of not. The fact that she had gotten in a car, out of the rain, kind of annoyed the clouds. 'Wow, that sounds crazy. Too bad its true...the clouds are such smart-alecks,' she thought. But she came back to reality when she saw his hand reach out to turn up the heat. She pursed her lips, then frowned a bit at his question. "Um...I'm not the best person to ask when you need to go somewhere...I kinda got lost after wandering around..." She trailed off before giving an embarassed smile. "Well...it was somewhat a nice day until this storm came along..." She said, and then looked out the window again when thunder boomed loudly. Taymos huffed a bit and then looked back at him. "I honestly don't know how a storm like this could've come along so abruptly." She said, though she actually did know. Because she had been annoyed at being lost, and the clouds decided to mess with her.

A huff came from her as her original headache - which had dulled down - came back with a vengence. "Ugh..." She groaned, holding her head in her hands as thunder came again, loud and annoying, with the bright flash of lightning. Taymos barely noticed because her headache was just getting worse, as was the storm.

Crystal silently watched and listened. Not meaning to really. When the girl got into the car the storm got louder, she heard the girls thoughs and leaned forward interested. Someone who controlled the weather, that's new. Crystal by now was soking wet. She jumped from the roof with a soft, but loutish thud. She kinda creeped towards the car, hidden in the shadows, unseen. Or so she hoped her blue eyes went to bright to be seen threw the darkness. She tried to dig deeper into the girls mind only because she was intreated, but the headach caused one of her own, instantly, she used one of her healing powers to calm the headach... At lest until she pulled out, or the storm calmed. Crystal was pressed agents the wall, wings gone, eyes shining. It was weird sing mudians in the normal activities. Well... Not so quite mudan, and a mudain.

Dally nodded and laughed abit. "Yah, I've been there. Isn't being lost just wonderful?" He didn't know how she would take his sarcasm. Dally wondered what a girl like her was doing wandering around Port Angeles alone for anyway. It wasn't always the nicest neighborhood, especially when it concerned pretty girls that were alone. Some people, guys particularly, took advantage of people like that. Dally was glad that he had been raised right to no better than to do anything like that. He would never disrespect a lady. He might tease her, but noting worse.

Dally noticed that the girl put her head in her hands and groaned. "Are you okay? You look like someone pounded a hammer on your head and you are just now feeling the after-effects of it all." He wondered if she was still cold from being out in the rain for so long, so he took off his jacket. He placed his jacket around her shoulders. The worst she would do was take it off; which would be fine. He just wanted to be sure she was warm enough. He hoped that his jacket didn't stink; that would be embarrassing.

"It's the best thing out there." Taymos muttered sarcastically, not being able to provide a very enthusiastic answer. She winced as the headache peaked, causing thunder to crack. She turned her head and looked at him for a moment. "Just a headache. I'm fine." She managed, giving a tight smile before huffing irritably. She barely noticed when he put his jacket on her, but his human scent gave her something else to concentrate on to ignore the headache. She held her head with one hand and looked up at the clouds, but then she heard a muted thud! from somewhere close by. She searched through the heavy rain and froze at a glimmer. Eyes.

There was someone out there.

Her eyes widened as she stared right where the glimmer was and she gulped. "Theres someone out there." She said, her voice almost a whisper. Taymos didn't think it was someone human...a human's eyes wouldn't shine like that. Not at all. "I'd suggest you drive. Now." She said, watching the eyes in return before wincing as her headache raged on. "Please."

Crystal winced at her thoughs and acted as if she fell, actually cuttin her leg. "ah, fuck." crystal eyes dimed as she late on the floor. Eather theygit out and helped " her or they drive off like she asked. She would never hurt a human. On purpose at lest. She slowly got up dusting her knees off and hands. She made eye contact with the women, her eyes a softly blue, the lights from the car making them look bright slightly still. "fuck... I got to paymore attention. "

Taymos clenched her teeth and narrowed her eyes as the glimmer dimmed and she was able to make out a form. "Don't help her." She whispered, not looking at the human as she watched the odd being from her window. Her eyes flickered to the clouds and they grumbled at her, the thunder low and quiet. She huffed a bit and shook her head, looking away from the other creature. She leaned her head back and looked at the human, and bit her lower lip as she watched him.

She looked back out the window, and held the creature's gaze. She vaguely heard her speak, and her lips tightened into a hard line as she glared. 'Fuck...I got to pay more attention.' She heard from the unknown person - if she even was a normal person. Taymos was just itching to make the human drive off. If she didn't know what someone or something was, she didn't trust it. The feeling from the other being that she got didn't feel right. And she didn't trust, most of all, the creature's bright eyes.

Dally watched as the girl stared out the window. He heard her whisper something and he became confused. "Don't help who?" he asked, one eyebrow raised. He wondered why she was acting so weird, but he didn't dare to ask. She was very set on him driving away, so he took the car out of park and slowly began driving away from the spot he had picked her up. He took careful glances over at her, trying to figure out what she had seen.

"So.. Where to?" he asked quietly.

'Thank God...he can't see her. That's good...' Taymos thought, and turned to look at him. "Nevermind, just...can we please get out of here?" She said quietly, looking at him with her blues eyes pleading. Then she sighed, closing her eyes as she shook her head. But, before they drove off, she took one more glance at the odd being and gulped before pointedly looking away. She'd rather not deal with anyone who wasn't human at the moment, especially with the human next to her around.

Sadly, she could feel his eyes on her often in a somewhat cautious, careful gaze. She bit her lip, chewing over how to explain her behavior if he chose to ask. Tay was hoping he wouldn't, but humans are often pretty curious. But it surprised her when he spoke, and it wasn't questioning her odd behavior. It was to ask where they were going.

That wasn't a thing she had thought about.

She turned her head to him, and tilted her head slightly as she quickly thought. Still, she didn't have an idea. Opening her mouth to try to say something, she then closed it and bit her lip. Taymos didn't know where to go. So, giving a simple answer after considering for a moment, she managed a small, unsure smile that made her eyes seem to light up. "I honestly don't know." She said, embarassed as she looked down at her lap and played with her fingers. She had forgotten that she had his coat on, and barely noticed that she was cold. Gingerly, she pulled the coat over her more and held it closed with one of her hands as she sank down in the seat of his car. "Sorry if I'm not being very helpful with the 'where to'." She said sheepishly after a quiet moment and bit her lip as she looked at him. Her blue eyes had apology in them, and she really did feel a bit guilty about it.

Taymos was never very helpful in these kind of situations.

[[It's fine. I still had enough to work with. And trust me, I'm patient. It didn't seem that long, really. Smile ]]]

Crystal sighed. "well. People sure are nice these days. " she whispered to her self as she softly limped off. Feeling blood drip down her leg she sighed again. The rain washing it away. She ran her hand along her leg when the humans were out of sight. Healing her leg..

Hearing the the thoughts inside the womens headhe seemed to think she was a freak.. She wasn't.. She just happens to act werid around humans.. Not sure reallyhiw to act around the
. She then decided it would be better to go home..

Dally watched her out of the corner of his eye as she tried to think of where they were going. She didn't seem to know. His thoughts were confirmed as she said that she really didn't know. "Well, it's your lucky day because that's my favorite place in the whole world." Dally hardly ever knew his destination until he got there. He just drove. He didn't care where he would end up. That was how he got away from everyday problems. He would go for a ride and when he got somewhere he liked, he stopped. Either that or he just drove around until he decided that he should head home.
When she was apologizing for be a lack of help, Dally smiled. "Don't worry about it. More than half the time, I have no clue where I'm going when I walk out my front door. I just go." Just then he realized he hadn't asked her name so he decided to give her his. "I'm Dallas, by the way. But you can call me Dally," he smiled warmly at her.

Tay gave a small smile. "Ya...I think you'd like being around me then." She joked lightly, but the reality of her lack of decision and direction was quite real. She couldn't ever really decide where to go, or remember how to get to a certain place. It was terrible; really. She often didn't like leaving her home or where she at least living at the moment. It was one of her major flaws.

And her least favorite flaw.

A sigh came to her lips. "I usually don't try to go somewhere; I always get lost." She said, flushing. She had a small smile come to her lips and she glanced at him. "I'm Taymos, but most people call me Tay." She said lightly, managing a real smile at him.
